UPMC is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst - Intermediate with Epic Radiant expertise to join their dedicated team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive analytical services, meticulously defining requirements, and developing robust computer applications and systems. The primary focus will be on optimizing Epic Radiant functionalities to enhance radiology workflows, benefiting both inpatient and outpatient services. Responsibilities include serving as the subject matter expert for radiology workflows (ordering, scheduling, protocoling, imaging, and resulting), collaborating with clinical and operational stakeholders to translate needs into effective Epic solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with other Epic modules. The analyst will also troubleshoot complex, cross-module issues, manage Epic upgrades and enhancements, develop and execute testing strategies, support radiology reporting and analytics, and provide technical guidance to junior analysts. UPMC values continuous improvement, best practices, and strict adherence to patient safety, regulatory, and security requirements. This position offers a full-time, hybrid work arrangement. Candidates should possess at least 2+ years of experience in modern technology and application support, demonstrate strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills, and be highly driven and self-motivated. A solid understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is essential, along with the ability to take full project ownership and maintain data confidentiality and quality. The role requires creating and reviewing training documentation, facilitating training sessions, developing and updating processes, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. Experience with creating and modifying test plans, effective communication, and a team-first approach are also key. Opportunities for self-development and mentoring less experienced staff are provided. This position may require on-call standby status, involving 24/7 availability during rotation periods.
