Systems Administrator

Blueprint, a prominent technology solutions firm based in Bellevue, Washington, is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support groundbreaking research. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters, encompassing compute, storage, and networking elements. You will leverage automation tools like Python, Ansible, and Terraform to streamline cluster deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and resolving platform-level issues to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and seamless workload execution. As part of a dynamic DevOps lifecycle, you will engage in code development, reviews, testing, and production operations. Crucially, you will validate HPC platforms for readiness, internal security compliance, and research team needs. Direct interaction with researchers to troubleshoot simulation and workload challenges will be a key aspect of the role. Maintaining comprehensive documentation for architecture, deployment, and operational procedures is essential. You will also play a vital part in a major migration of HPC systems into a specialized secure environment.
