System Reliability Engineer

Robotics Engineer Opportunity in Gurgaon, India

Shunya Ekai Technologies is seeking a skilled Robotics Engineer to join their expanding team in India. This role requires expertise in ROS 1 and ROS 2, along with a strong foundation in robotics principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement ROS packages and algorithms for mapping, localization, sensor fusion, and navigation.
• Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of Robotics, Robotic Operating Systems (ROS1, ROS2), multi-threaded applications, SLAM, VSLAM. Experience with LIDAR and Depth cameras is a plus.
• Possess strong knowledge of Gazebo, URDF Models, Manipulation, Motion Planning, and Robot Navigation.
• Experience working with hardware such as motors, encoders, drivers, and 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers (At-mega 8, Arduino At-mega 320P, Raspberry Pi, or similar single-board computers).
• Familiarity with communication protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, TCP/IP, MQTT, and HTTP.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or other scripting languages, Image/Video processing, and Machine learning/Deep learning algorithms.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with engineers from various departments.
• Solid understanding of mathematics relevant to robotics, including Probability, Algebra, and Calculus.
• Experience with ROS2, ROS1, Motion Planning, and Navigation Stacks.
• Knowledge of Electrical Hardware (Motors, Drivers, Controllers, Arduino).
• Computer Vision and Machine Learning knowledge is advantageous, though not compulsory.
• Excellent knowledge of sensors used in robotics.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Robotics Engineer.
