Wobot Intelligence is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in edge or infrastructure roles to join their team in Delhi, India. This position offers a permanent employment opportunity.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Linux, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), and be adept at device performance testing. You should be comfortable with troubleshooting complex issues, conducting performance benchmarks, and meticulously documenting your findings. Familiarity with basic scripting (Shell/Python) and monitoring tools is considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain edge devices in various environments, ensuring optimal performance and operational efficiency.
• Design and execute comprehensive benchmark suites for edge devices, evaluating CPU/GPU/NPU, memory, storage, and sustained load performance.
• Analyze and compare different devices and configurations, producing clear benchmark reports with actionable recommendations on the best devices and settings.
• Develop repeatable test checklists and implement simple automation to guarantee consistent results across different sites.
• Perform routine system upgrades, firmware updates, and essential maintenance to bolster security and functionality.
• Conduct thorough system and network troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity challenges.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, edge computing, or infrastructure support.
• A solid grasp of real-world device performance measurement and validation techniques.
• Proficiency in conducting structured tests, analyzing results, and documenting findings with clarity and precision.
• Strong administration skills in Linux-based systems, coupled with a deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and VPN technologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a talent for documenting processes and outcomes.
• Basic scripting capabilities (e.g., Shell scripts, Python) are a plus.
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Grafana is advantageous.
