System Administrator - Windows & Network

Ample Technologies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our IT team as a System Administrator with Windows and Network responsibilities. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build a career in IT and gain practical experience in managing and maintaining systems, networks, and supporting critical video conferencing and CCTV infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of desktop computers and network devices.
• Proactively monitor system performance to ensure the availability of essential IT services across the Hyderabad office.
• Install, configure, and regularly update operating systems, applications, and drivers to maintain system integrity.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems with desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals to minimize user disruption.
• Provide responsive technical support to end-users, effectively troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Execute routine system maintenance tasks, including backups, operating system updates, and system monitoring.
• Support users with hardware, software, and network-related issues to reduce downtime.
• Manage and support video conferencing systems, including setup, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance.
• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of CCTV systems, ensuring optimal uptime and video recording quality.
• Provide support in troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
• Monitor security protocols and ensure adherence to basic cybersecurity best practices.
• Document and report on system and network performance metrics.
• Collaborate closely with network engineers, system administrators, and IT managers to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Configure Microsoft Outlook and manage .pst backup of mailboxes.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and basic knowledge of Linux.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP.
• Exposure to video conferencing platforms such as Zoom, Webex, or Microsoft Teams is advantageous.
• Understanding of basic CCTV system components including cameras and NVR/DVRs.
• Familiarity with basic network devices like routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Proficiency in basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
• A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Located in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad.
