SWE & App Arch Sr Engineer

Overview

• Serve as the module lead responsible for developing AIQ global features.
• Design and develop high-performing, secure RESTful/GraphQL APIs for Metrics, Insights, AI Agents, and new feature modules. Optimize databases and data pipelines to meet strict throughput requirements.
• Lead a team of four backend engineers by delegating tasks effectively, conducting code reviews, and enforcing rigorous testing standards (unit, integration, performance).

Responsibilities

• Design & Build Services:Create scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Implement Distributed Patterns:Manage service discovery, API gateways, and circuit breakers to ensure system resilience.
• Event-Driven Integration:Connect services seamlessly using message brokers like Kafka or messaging queues.
• Containerization & Deployment:Deploy and orchestrate services efficiently using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Develop Autonomous Agents:Build intelligent agents capable of task automation, reasoning loops (like ReAct), and complex decision-making processes.
• Orchestrate Workflows:Set up multi-agent collaboration patterns, routing mechanisms, and prompt chaining strategies.
• Vector & RAG Integration:Integrate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and vector databases (e.g., Azure AI Search) with Java backends to enhance data retrieval accuracy.
• API Connectivity:Securely link LLM providers like OpenAI and Hugging Face via REST APIs to leverage advanced language capabilities.
• Monitoring & Analytics:Track agent behaviors, system latency, and failure rates in production environments to ensure reliability.
• DevOps Collaboration:Partner with DevOps teams to automate testing procedures and streamline deployment pipelines for faster time-to-market.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, accompanied by 8+ years of full-stack development expertise in Java-based ecosystems.
