Role Overview: Blockchain & Backend Developer

We are looking for a mid-level developer with 3+ years of experience to join our team building enterprise-grade decentralized solutions. You will develop smart contracts, build robust backend services on Java/Kotlin/Go, and integrate applications with Azure.

What You'll Do

• Develop Blockchain Solutions: Build dApps, write smart contracts, define ledger logic, and handle data persistence patterns under guidance from senior architects.
• Backend & API Development: Implement high-performance backend services using Java/Kotlin/Go, REST/GraphQL APIs ensuring clean code, proper pagination, and backward compatibility.
• Cloud Integration on Azure: Assist in deploying/maintaining blockchain nodes and supporting microservices on AKS, SQL, Key Vault, Service Bus.
• Implement Security Standards: Apply cryptographic signature models, permissioning frameworks, certificate management, and secure data privacy practices (OAuth2, mTLS).
• Testing & CI/CD: Write comprehensive automated tests and utilize Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions for continuous delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Backend Experience: Professional experience using Java, Kotlin, or Go (Entry level not suitable; 3 years required).
• Distributed Ledger Technology: Hands-on writing/deploying smart contracts and working with DLT.
• Fundamentals: Solid understanding of consensus mechanisms, cryptography, transaction flows, and smart contract states.
• Azure Proficiency: Familiarity with cloud provisioning, containerization (Docker), monitoring.
• Prompt Engineering & AI Tools: Experience using GitHub Copilot/Replit to draft code and document features; ability to critically review AI-generated drafts for security and logic constraints.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with enterprise DLTs: R3 Corda, Hyperledger Fabric, or Ethereum/EVM frameworks.
• Database experience: PostgreSQL, migration tools (Liquibase/Flyway).
• Infrastructure as Code exposure to Terraform/Bicep/Kubernetes.
