MuleSoft Integration Specialist - Senior

EY is seeking an experienced Integration Specialist with 3–6 years of experience to join our dynamic Digital Integration team in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This role is pivotal in designing, building, and deploying scalable and secure integration solutions that drive business transformation, system integration, and enterprise-wide automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess existing integration landscapes and recommend modernization strategies using MuleSoft.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical designs, reusable APIs, and effective integration patterns.
• Develop, deploy, and manage MuleSoft APIs and integrations on the Anypoint Platform, including CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, and Hybrid deployments.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to establish integration standards, SLAs, and governance models.
• Implement comprehensive error handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms using Anypoint Monitoring and other tools.
• Maintain essential integration artifacts and documentation, such as RAML specifications, flow diagrams, and interface contracts.
• Ensure adherence to performance tuning, scalability, and security best practices for all integration solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps processes for MuleSoft assets using platforms like Azure DevOps or GitLab.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Data, Cloud) to deliver end-to-end connected solutions.
• Stay abreast of MuleSoft platform advancements and industry integration trends to propose improvements and innovations.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root cause analysis in production and non-production environments.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, technical mentoring, and process optimization efforts.
• Demonstrate strong SQL, data integration, and data handling capabilities.
• Leverage exposure to AI Models and Python for data cleaning and standardization tasks.

Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Anypoint Studio.
• Strong experience with API-led connectivity and designing reusable APIs (System, Process, Experience layers).
• Proficiency in DataWeave transformations, flow orchestration, and integration best practices.
• Experience with the full API lifecycle management, including design, development, publishing, governance, and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of various integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, batch).
• Hands-on experience with security policies, including OAuth, JWT, client ID enforcement, and TLS.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP in integration project contexts.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, capacity planning, and error handling within MuleSoft integrations.
• Experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git branching strategies, and automated deployments.
• Experience with data intelligence cloud platforms like Snowflake, Azure, or Databricks.

Ideally, you'll also have:

• MuleSoft Certified Developer or Integration Architect certification.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Elastic, or Anypoint Monitoring.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to clearly and concisely document integration requirements, user stories, and API contracts.
• Experience in agile environments and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Capability to mentor junior developers and contribute to reusable component libraries and coding standards.
