The National Gallery of Art seeks a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist in Washington, D.C. This pivotal role oversees all facets of the Building Automation System (BAS) network infrastructure, including system software, hardware maintenance, and strategic long-term planning. You will leverage your expertise in Microsoft network operating systems to manage user and administrator functions. The position involves planning, coordinating, and designing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic control projects for BAS alterations and upgrades. You will also brief the IT steering committee on new systems, market trends, and cutting-edge technologies to enhance BAS efficiency, assist in budget development for IT funds, and create contract specifications, estimates, and CAD drawings for BAS repairs and improvements. Additionally, you will serve as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for assigned construction and service contracts.
