Role Overview

The Supervision Performance & Automation Analyst at LPL Financial will play a pivotal role in delivering automated workflows to enhance operational efficiency within our Supervision team. This position demands strong collaboration, process improvement focus, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to execute large-scale solutions across diverse projects and initiatives.
  • Advance professional skills in discovery, design, and implementation of process improvements and automated workflows through joint project participation.
  • Optimize business processes by conducting stakeholder interviews to compile needs assessments, identify requirements, and support solution design.
  • Perform rigorous data validation and process testing exercises, identifying defects and proposing robust solutions or workarounds.
  • Leverage backend data sources in Alteryx to deliver cross-functional efficient workflows.
  • Demonstrate independent research capabilities by resolving unknowns using available resources and organizational navigation skills.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by proposing strategies to leverage data aggregation tools, automated workflows, or AI technologies.

Requirements

Must-Have:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in data sourcing, extraction, or analytics.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python, and/or Alteryx.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail paired with excellent business judgment for independent work.
• Resourceful ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Demonstrated capacity to multi-task effectively under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
• Proven work ethic coupled with natural curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills adaptable to various audiences.

Preferred:
• Knowledge of Supervision regulations; securities licenses (7, 66/63) are a plus.
• Prior experience replacing manual workflows by aggregating data for automation.
