Structuring Associate

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve the research platform for existing and upcoming trading strategies.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of:
  • Relevant backtesting systems
  • Strategies and models developed by the Equity Digital Office team
• Integrate seamlessly into the Equity Digital Office team, a new initiative within Global Markets.
• Assist senior team members in the design of both systems and trading strategies.
• Provide responsive support and timely escalation to global business groups.
• Analyze diverse data sources to design efficient data retrieval and quality solutions.
• Design and build robust client-side and server-side components, adhering to industry best practices.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in application development using Python.
• Exceptional problem-solving and design capabilities, particularly in event-driven, server-side distributed architectures.
• Foundational knowledge of finance and statistics.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Superior organizational and time management abilities.
• A genuine enthusiasm for leveraging technology to tackle complex challenges.
• Comfort and experience working with large databases and datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Unwavering strong work ethics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CFA Level I certification is a plus.
• Solid understanding of equity options/futures and the trading lifecycle events associated with equity products.
• Experience with:
  • KDB or other time-series databases
  • Application profiling and performance tuning
  • DevOps principles and Agile software development methodologies
