This role focuses on maintaining high standards of customer service, adhering strictly to safety compliance, and effectively managing station staff. You will be instrumental in leading daily station activities, managing revenue protection, crowd control, and coordinating team responses during service disruptions. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to operational procedures, supporting asset management and facility upkeep, and contributing to event/change plans. You will also act as a duty manager, fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for passengers, embedding Signature Service initiatives, and supporting efforts to improve customer satisfaction. This position involves managing and motivating frontline staff and customer service representatives, overseeing performance and development, and ensuring workforce engagement. Collaboration with trade unions, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing security risks, and adhering to station budgets are key aspects of this role. You will liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, including transport authorities and emergency services, and support station improvement projects and the implementation of new technologies to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
