Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to design and build scalable backend services on AWS. You will develop Java/Spring Boot microservices, integrate secure APIs with relational/NoSQL databases, and ensure system reliability in a hybrid cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop business logic for data processing components within AWS infrastructure.
• Integrate diverse database solutions (SQL/NoSQL) and open-source technologies.
• Implement rigorous testing strategies (unit, integration, contract) to ensure code quality.
• Debug complex issues across application layers, networks, and databases.
• Utilize AWS services for compute, storage, messaging, security, and observability.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of backend development experience with strong Java expertise.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture patterns.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL database concepts.
• Familiarity with AWS services, Docker containers, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills for debugging performance bottlenecks.

Desired Qualifications

• Degree in STEM field.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, or event-driven design.
• Knowledge of HL7/FHIR standards and real-time streaming protocols is a plus.
