Staff Software Engineer

The Opportunity

As a Staff Software Engineer on Hinge Health's Service Enablement team, you will build the platforms and engineering practices that other teams rely on to ship software safely and quickly. The role is hands-on: you will write production code, lead architecture reviews, participate in operational response, and coach engineers toward technical ownership.

What You'll Accomplish

• Own a multi-quarter technical roadmap for Service Enablement domains based on internal team needs.
• Lead architecture for highly available, secure platforms crossing pod boundaries.
• Improve developer productivity with automation and self-service workflows.
• Work closely with Engineering, Product, Security, Data, ML, and Infrastructure to balance delivery speed against reliability and cost.
• Mentor engineers and raise the bar for engineering practice across the organization.

Hinge Health Hybrid Model

This is a Bengaluru-based role requiring 3 days in-office per week. You will collaborate with colleagues in San Francisco, CA (Pacific Time). Applicants must be open to late evening meetings following India Standard Time (8:30 pm - 10:30pm IST) for alignment.
