About the Role
Join Twilio's Identity Platform Team in Bangalore as a Staff Software Engineer (L4) to help build mission-critical IAM products and features. You will design, develop, and implement high-quality Java-based applications and microservices on our amazing team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for secure product experiences customers love.
- Participate in rigorous code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues to maintain high-scale cloud system performance.
- Document technical specifications and manage work via GitHub and Jira within our CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
We are looking for a Java expert with 8+ years of experience building resilient, distributed microservices. You must have strong expertise in REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and technologies like MySQL, Aurora, DynamoDB, Kafka, and Memcached. Proficiency in frameworks such as Spring or Dropwizard is essential.
