About The Role
As a Staff Software Engineer (L4) on Twilio's Segment Data Platform team based in India, you will design and scale systems processing hundreds of thousands of data points per second. You will lead the development of high-scale ingestion pipelines for our Customer Data Platform (CDP), ensuring reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency while querying petabytes of data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver robust routing experiences for high-availability distributed systems with eventual consistency.
- Mentor engineers on technical architecture; act as a Tech Lead to drive complex system initiatives end-to-end.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within Twilio's remote-first, global inclusion culture to build scalable infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Kubernetes and modern stream processing (Kafka/Spark/Flink).
