Role Overview
Title: Staff Software Engineer - Fullstack
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (On-site or Hybrid)
Skill Focus: Full-Stack Development, UI/UX Design, Distributed Systems, Data Pipelines.
The Impact You Will Have
- Build simple workflows covering multiple user journeys within the Databricks Control Plane.
- Create self-serve and modular UI flows to enable product teams in building standard customer user journeys.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (Product Management, Backend Engineers) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Mentor and groom junior full-stack engineers while leading large multi-quarter efforts.
About The Role
We are looking for a customer-obsessed engineer comfortable working towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables. You will set the foundation for robust, scalable, and delightful products on our SaaS platform (Lakehouse Architecture).
What We Look For:
- 10+ years of industry experience in developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Demonstrated ability to lead efforts with significant customer or business impact.
- Familiarity with server-side web technologies (React, Node.js preferred).
- A passion for current trends and best practices in front-end architecture: performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
- Experience working on SaaS platforms or Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA).
