Staff Software Engineer - Frontend Full Stack at ServiceNow, Hyderabad

This role is central to powering AI Search, Virtual Agents, AI Agents, and other AI solutions that enhance smarter operations and deliver significant business value. We are seeking a talented full-stack engineer with expertise in UX technologies to join our team.

In this role, you will significantly contribute to architecting solutions that revolutionize user experience and workflow efficiency for enterprise services. Moving beyond traditional analytical tools, we are developing AI/ML solutions that enable any user, regardless of technical expertise, to operate enterprise services thoughtfully and at scale. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product owners to understand detailed requirements and architect high-quality user-centric solutions.
• Architect and gain consensus on solutions across partner teams and consumers.
• Contribute to building cutting-edge cloud-based AI/ML solutions for intelligent enterprise services.
• Work daily with a collaborative team of developers, product managers, and quality engineers to produce high-quality software.
• Evaluate and guide the team on technology options, considering performance, accuracy, and cost.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in architecting and implementing complex enterprise applications across various technology stacks.
• Proficient experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• A strong passion for JavaScript and the web platform, with a focus on reusability and componentization.
• Expertise in Java, JavaScript, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and developing time and space-efficient algorithms.
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Strong analytical and design skills.
• Ability to manage projects with significant technical risk at a team level.
• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, or analyzing AI-driven insights.
• Experience developing LLM-based features. Prompt engineering experience is a plus.
• Experience with methods for training and fine-tuning large language models (e.g., distillation, supervised fine-tuning, policy optimization) is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Cursor or Windsurf is a plus.
