About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer to develop scalable backend services, APIs, and data-processing components within our AWS cloud and hybrid environment. You will build robust Java and Spring Boot microservices, integrate diverse databases (relational/NoSQL), and leverage open-source tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure REST APIs using Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop business logic for high-availability clinical applications and hybrid cloud setups.
• Create comprehensive unit, integration, contract, and performance tests to ensure reliability.
• Debug complex issues across application layers, networks, and databases.
• Collaborate in design reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and production support operations.

Required Skills

• 8–10+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and AWS services (compute, storage, messaging).
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD tools, Docker/containerization fundamentals, and secure engineering practices.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka for event-driven architecture, Redis/caching strategies.
• Experience with healthcare standards: DICOM, HL7, FHIR and real-time clinical data streaming (WebSocket).
