Staff Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer in Bangalore (India) to set the technical direction for the core platform behind AiPrise's compliance orchestration and AI agent systems. This is our most senior individual-contributor role where you will own the architecture of a major part of the platform, lead multi-quarter initiatives across teams, and raise the engineering bar.

What You'll Do

• Set technical direction: Own the architecture for vendor orchestration, case management, or AI agents. Lead end-to-end delivery for large-scale technical initiatives.
• Establish standards: Author RFCs, define SLOs, manage incident response, and ensure data integrity in a regulated environment.
• Scale the platform: Evolve the orchestration layer to handle 10x verification volume across 80+ vendors. Shape developer platforms for CI/CD and observability.
• Drive AI maturity: Take AI agent systems from prototype to production-grade with guardrails, evaluation pipelines, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Multiply the team: Act as a technical lead and mentor to senior engineers. Partner with founders on product strategy and help close top-tier candidates.
