About the Role
The Staff Software Development Engineer role within Clearwater's Agentic Client Interactions & Orchestration (ACIO) is a senior technical leadership position focused on architecting, designing, and delivering large-scale distributed systems that power critical financial reporting and analytics. This role requires deep expertise in scalable system design, agentic architecture, cloud-native platforms, and high-performance data processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design Leadership: Own the end-to-end architecture of Clearwater ACIO systems for large-scale financial data processing. Define architectural standards and evaluate patterns for fault tolerance and scalability.
- Technical Strategy & Delivery: Lead technical strategy across multiple domains, drive improvements in observability and deployment automation, and ensure designs meet security and performance benchmarks.
Mentorship
Mentor senior engineers in architecture thinking and distributed systems development. Build strong cross-division relationships to facilitate integration.
Innovation
Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies, identify opportunities for re-architecting existing systems, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
