Staff Software Developer

Kinaxis is seeking a Staff Software Developer specializing in Front-End Technologies to join our collaborative, high-performing team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role is pivotal in architecting and evolving a modern platform and web client that enables users to visualize and orchestrate complex supply chains. As a Staff Engineer, you will be a technical anchor, ensuring our architecture is robust, performant, and scalable, while tackling the unique challenges of handling massive, high-concurrency datasets. You will drive technical strategy, lead complex architecture design, scale engineering excellence, champion quality and reliability through automated testing and observability, and act as a strategic collaborator between product vision and technical execution. This position also involves leading the practical application of Generative AI and emerging web technologies, alongside mentoring Senior and Lead engineers to foster a culture of continuous growth.

• Drive Technical Strategy: Define the long-term architectural roadmap for our web client and frontend platform, ensuring it aligns with global business objectives and scales across multiple product lines.
• Lead Complex Architecture: Spearhead design investigations and prototype complex system integrations to resolve technical uncertainties and de-risk major platform initiatives.
• Scale Engineering Excellence: Establish and uphold high standards for software craftsmanship, performance optimization, and architectural consistency across multiple teams.
• Champion Quality & Reliability: Design and implement comprehensive, automated testing and observability strategies that ensure long-term stability in an enterprise-grade environment.
• Strategic Collaboration: Act as a bridge between high-level product vision and technical execution, partnering with Product Directors, UX Leaders, and Engineering Managers to influence the product roadmap.
• Innovation & Gen AI: Lead the practical application of Generative AI and emerging web technologies to ensure our platform remains at the cutting edge of the industry.
• Mentorship & Influence: Cultivate a culture of continuous growth by mentoring Senior and Lead engineers and fostering a community of practice around frontend and ful-stack excellence.

What we are looking for:

• 12+ Years of Experience: A proven track record in building and scaling complex, ful-stack web applications.
• Technical Mastery: Deep, expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and React. You should be comfortable architecting complex type systems and reusable component ecosystems.
• Enterprise Architecture: 5+ years of experience leading the development of complex, enterprise-grade web platforms that serve global customers.
• Design Patterns & OOP: Expert understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and modern design patterns as applied to the web.
• Cloud Fluency: Extensive practical experience with cloud-native architectures on Azure or GCP.
• The "Staff" Mindset: You are more than a coder; you are a technical diplomat and a champion for technical debt management, code maintainability, and organizational growth.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
