Staff / Senior Engineer

Overview

Join our high-impact, remote-first engineering team building mission-critical real-time web applications for a global B2B hotel marketplace. We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design and scale systems serving major international hospitality brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and operate scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot) on AWS ECS infrastructure.
• Create responsive, performant UIs integrated with REST/GraphQL APIs utilizing React and TypeScript.
• Design low-latency asynchronous workflows leveraging Kafka or AWS SQS for high-throughput data processing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures.
• Optimize relational (MySQL, ScyllaDB) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases for efficient storage and retrieval.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of full-stack development experience on production-grade systems.
• Advanced backend skills in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and API design.
• Expertise in React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, Redux, and modern state management patterns.
• Proven track record with event-driven architectures (Kafka/SQS) and ETL pipeline development.
• Solid experience managing AWS environments including ECS, S3 IAM, and Docker containerization.
