Staff Security Engineer

This Staff Security Engineer role sits at the core of Product and AI Security engineering. You will leverage deep security expertise to resolve complex issues, partner across teams, apply analytical skills to solve challenges, and drive meaningful improvements in our shared policy-as-code enforcement architecture.

About The Role

• Build the End-State API Security Capability:
• Evaluate DAST Tooling Strategy: Complete current tool evaluations, make production migration decisions, and execute the transition end-to-end.
• Extend Security Domains: Address blind spots in pipeline access & execution control and systemic artifact consumption verification. Treat API security as part of broader supply-chain security rather than a silo.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Act as a force multiplier by mentoring engineers across the merged team, unblocking initiatives, and driving delivery without waiting for direction.

Your Responsibilities

You will shape roadmaps with engineering managers to prioritize backlogs, identify emerging business problems before they become fire drills, and think beyond current scopes. As a standard Staff Engineer, you share responsibilities in technical leadership, design review, on-call/escalation, sustaining engineering, and maintenance.
