Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Your role as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer will involve leading and mentoring a team of ML Engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration. You will architect and implement scalable, robust, and efficient ML pipelines for our core products. Develop novel algorithms and optimize existing models for performance, accuracy, and scalability. Solve challenging real-world problems in natural language processing, recommendation systems, and predictive analytics. Stay current by researching and implementing state-of-the-art techniques in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and emerging fields. Specifically, you will focus on designing and developing scalable solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), fine-tuning LLMs for specific NLP tasks, and developing and deploying LLM-powered applications.

We require deep expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP, with a proven track record of developing and deploying ML models at scale. Technical leadership experience, including team mentoring and strong communication/collaboration skills, is essential. A problem-solving mindset, critical thinking, and the ability to develop innovative solutions are key. A genuine passion for AI and its real-world applications is a must. Advanced skills include proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), and strong CS fundamentals in languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, Scala, and R. Experience with GenAI and LLMs, including developing and deploying LLM-powered applications, knowledge of LLM fine-tuning techniques and optimization strategies, and an understanding of LLM ethical considerations and biases are crucial.

Nice to have qualifications include 6-10+ years of relevant work experience in ML and AI, an MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, publications in top-tier AI conferences, experience with Transformers, and contributions to open-source ML projects.

This is a hybrid role. Employees near our Santa Clara, Bangalore, and Noida offices are expected to work from the office three days per week for essential in-person collaboration.
