Staff Full Stack Engineer - Gen AI at ServiceNow in Hyderabad

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer with profound knowledge in architecting AI solutions to join our team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing solutions that revolutionize the user experience and workflow efficiency of enterprise services. Moving beyond traditional analytical tools that require technical expertise, we are developing AI/ML solutions that empower any user, regardless of technical background, to operate enterprise services thoughtfully and at scale.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with product owners to translate detailed requirements into high-quality architectural solutions.
• Gain consensus on solution designs across partner teams and consumers.
• Develop best-in-class cloud-based AI/ML solutions to power intelligent enterprise services.
• Engage daily with a collaborative team of developers, product managers, and quality engineers to deliver exceptional software.
• Evaluate various technology options based on performance, accuracy, and cost, guiding the team towards optimal solutions.

What You Bring:

• A strong foundation in architecting and implementing complex enterprise applications, with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in developing enterprise-scale conversational AI platforms with advanced natural language processing.
• Deep expertise in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and optimizing Large Language Models (LLMs), with hands-on experience using models like GPT, Claude, and open-source alternatives.
• Proficiency in Java or Python, JavaScript, Object-Oriented Design (OOP), Design Patterns, and time/space-efficient algorithms.
• Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Proven ability to translate complex LLM concepts into tangible business value, with strong communication skills for all stakeholder levels.
• Experience leading the development of Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and applied research prototypes to explore novel AI capabilities, model interpretability, and safety strategies.
• The capability to work effectively with Senior Architects, Leaders, and other Business Units to drive technical solutions.
• A demonstrated ability to be a quick learner of emerging technologies.
• The ability to mentor junior engineers within the team.
• Capability to manage technical risks within a project and across teams, potentially serving as a technical owner.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with methods for training and fine-tuning large language models (e.g., distillation, supervised fine-tuning, policy optimization).
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools like Cursor or Windsurf.
• Familiarity with the ServiceNow platform.
• Familiarity with UX technologies.
• Experience working with Knowledge Graphs.
