Staff Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Staff Engineer to play an integral role in shaping the future of entertainment technology. You will independently drive projects from requirements gathering through design, implementation, testing, and production deployment for enterprise-grade applications powering billions of devices.

Required Skills & Responsibilities:

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience building scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices using Java/J2EE and C#/.NET stacks.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), clean code principles, RESTful API design, and distributed system architecture.
• Strong knowledge of multithreading, performance tuning, concurrent programming, and high availability web-scale system design using technologies like Apache Web Server and application containers.
• Solid experience with relational databases including MySQL or MSSQL, strong SQL/PL-SQL skills, and database optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud-native application development experience on AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Containerization expertise using Docker and orchestration tools.
• Implementation of security best practices including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SSL/TLS, PKI, and encryption.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, WebSockets, Mule ESB, APNs, and SMPP.
• Building and operating production systems using CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins.
