Staff Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and developing high-performance systems for large-scale projects impacting millions of users globally. Your focus will be on building scalable, efficient, and reliable solutions, utilizing your strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and programming languages like C++, Java, or Python to tackle complex real-world challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize software systems and applications for high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Lead technical design discussions and influence architecture decisions for significant projects.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to software development best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, to deliver premium products.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support to the team.
• Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and champion the adoption of modern tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline from a premier institution.
• A robust understanding of data structures and algorithms, with a proven ability to resolve complex computational problems.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: C++, Java, or Python.
• Collaborate with architects to produce detailed low-level design documents and contribute to the technical roadmap.
• Re-architect existing algorithms and implementations, utilizing simulations for functional performance analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in large-scale systems design and architecture.
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a keen focus on writing efficient and optimized code.
• Experience with microservice platforms and algorithmic development.
• A good grasp of version control systems.
• Experience with REST-based API integration. Strong RDBMS skills and proficiency in DB/SQL.
• A solid understanding of design patterns, object-oriented design principles, and software frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts with clarity.
