Full Job Description
Netskope is seeking a Staff Engineer, Full-Stack UI to join their team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is integral to developing the Netskope Admin Console, which provides customers with a unified view of the Netskope Platform and its cloud security features. Candidates will collaborate with backend service teams to build user interfaces, working on both frontend and web application backends. Responsibilities include implementing web applications, supporting web application service features, developing reusable UI components using AngularJS, Angular2+, Javascript, and HTML5/CSS3, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and staying updated on emerging web technologies. The role also involves working closely with backend teams on technologies like Machine Learning, Threat, DLP, IaaS, and APIs, and potentially the Netskope REST API Gateway. Netskope is committed to hiring at all levels and will assess candidates individually.
Responsibilities:
- Implement web applications in the frontend.
- Support web application service features in the WebUI backend.
- Develop reusable UI components using AngularJS, Angular2+, Javascript, and HTML5/CSS3.
- Ensure seamless performance of the Netskope web interface across all browsers.
- Stay informed about the latest technologies and web methodologies for potential product integration.
- Collaborate effectively as a self-driven and motivated team player.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Expertise in Javascript.
- Experience with HTML5/CSS3, modern CSS Frameworks, and pre-compilers.
- Experience with modern Javascript frameworks such as AngularJS, Angular2+, and React (preferred).
- Experience with backend languages like PHP, Python, Java, or NodeJS.
- Proficiency in Algorithms.
- Proficiency in relational database design.
- Knowledge of secure web development practices.
- Working knowledge of Git or other version control tools.
- Experience in improving web application performance and familiarity with testing tools is a significant advantage.
Education:
- BSCS or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred.
