The Growth Markets Engineering Team focuses on developing and rolling out new products for high-growth regions like Mexico, Brazil, and Japan, aiming to drive user acquisition, platform expansion, revenue through partnerships, and democratize financial services.
Your impact will involve collaborating with a team of engineers on product design, development, testing, and deployment across web and mobile platforms. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing complex features independently, while also leading and mentoring other engineers. A key aspect of this role is driving technological and product innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development. You will act as a technical subject matter expert, representing the platform's capabilities and leading architectural discussions involving multiple systems. Identifying and addressing product/functionality gaps, collaborating with product and technology teams, and driving strategic initiatives are also core responsibilities. You will champion engineering excellence through CI/CD, proactively troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain code quality with comprehensive testing.

The role requires writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and conducting code reviews. Troubleshooting and debugging frontend issues, staying updated on frontend trends, and participating in Agile development processes are also expected. Mentoring junior engineers, demonstrating excellent communication skills, curiosity, a strong sense of ownership, and a drive for excellence are highly valued.
