Staff Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop core infrastructure services and microservices supporting machine learning, frontend, and platform teams.
• Implement foundational infrastructure for distributed configuration management, rate limiting, feature flags, A/B testing, and traffic capture/replay.
• Enhance the performance, scalability, and observability of Moveworks' cloud infrastructure.
• Consistently deliver time-sensitive work that is integral to other engineering teams.
• Take full ownership of features and actively contribute to the infrastructure roadmap.

Requirements:

• Over 10 years of experience in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining distributed backend systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• A strong aptitude for working in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ownership.
• Proven ability to address performance, optimization, scalability, latency, and monitoring challenges.
• High motivation, initiative, and a drive for continuous improvement and rapid project completion.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• A keen interest in engineering disciplines beyond your immediate specialization and a persistent desire for learning.
