Staff Engineer

About the Role

We are building autonomous coding agents that can generate, test, debug, and deploy production applications directly from plain-language intent. This is not a traditional staff engineer role; you will help define the architecture of systems that replace large portions of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect agent infrastructure for planning, reasoning, execution, and recovery.
• Build backend systems supporting millions of applications and globally distributed workloads.
• Solve reliability challenges in non-deterministic autonomous systems.
• Drive technical direction across infrastructure, platform, and runtime environments.
• Create new engineering paradigms where established solutions do not exist.

Requirements

• 9+ years building large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience owning architecture for critical production infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in concurrency, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
• Strong backend skills in languages like Go, Python, Rust, or Java.
