Staff DevOps Engineer

Role: Staff DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Engineering to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
• Lead end-to-end DevOps initiatives addressing real-world network operations challenges in Bangalore and Coimbatore.
• Work cross-functionally to plan, estimate, and execute key project deliverables using industry-standard estimation techniques.
• Demonstrate strong ownership, team collaboration, and drive for outcomes.
• Continuously adopt new technologies to stay current with evolving DevOps trends.
• Leverage network domain expertise to enhance solution design and troubleshooting efficiency.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Linux/Unix administration (Redhat/Centos preferred).
• Strong Python coding skills paired with robust problem-solving abilities.
• Experience deploying on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficiency with Helm charts for package management and Terraform scripting for IaC.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, or GitLab.
• Experience working within microservices architectures.
• A strong inclination towards automation and test-driven development (TDD).

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with web frameworks like Flask/Django/Bottle and RESTful API design.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible or Puppet for configuration management.
• Knowledge of VMware, OpenStack, KVM, or Proximo platform management.
• Understanding of Istio service mesh, Amazon EKS, GKE, NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and ELK stack including Grafana/HashiCorp Vault.
