Staff AI Engineer

Innovaccer is seeking a highly skilled Staff AI Engineer to join our dynamic team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining and building the next generation of predictive analytics tools for healthcare, leveraging deep understanding of healthcare data to create algorithms for personalized treatments. You will architect and evolve our AI platform infrastructure to support high-scale ML development, agentic frameworks, and self-serve pipelines. Your responsibilities will include driving the design and development of multi-agent systems for healthcare, delivering high-availability, low-latency AI applications, and leading the deployment of advanced ML/DL models like transformers, GANs, and generative frameworks.

You will oversee scalable data pipelines and infrastructure crucial for robust AI productization, translate experimental results into actionable insights, and guide the strategic alignment of AI initiatives with long-term business goals. This role also involves mentoring AI engineers and data scientists, leading code and design reviews, and collaborating closely with leadership, product teams, and customers to shape AI strategies and address high-impact challenges.

Ideal candidates will possess a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 9+ years in software development and 6+ years in AI/ML systems. Prior experience with generative AI pipelines, agents, and RAG systems is essential, along with deep expertise in LLMs, prompt engineering, frameworks like LangChain/CrewAI/Autogen, and vector databases such as FAISS or ChromaDB.

Key qualifications include a proven track record of deploying AI/ML systems in production at scale, a strong grasp of classical ML techniques, deep proficiency in Python and enterprise application development, and experience with cloud ML platforms (Azure ML, Databricks, SageMaker) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with distributed systems (Spark, Kubernetes) and MLOps best practices is also required.

Preferred skills encompass leadership in scaling AI systems, experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), a strong foundation in applied mathematics and statistics, and experience integrating AI models as platform components.
