As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will be instrumental in planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems. This includes ensuring optimal bring-up yield, developing circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that lead to the launch of cutting-edge, world-class products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust solutions and meet demanding performance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in static timing analysis (STA), constraint development, and other physical implementation aspects.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as PT, Tempus, GENUS, Innovus, ICC, etc.
• Strong ability to resolve critical timing bottleneck paths through STA fixing techniques.
• Experience in preparing complex Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for timing convergence across a wide range of operating corners using tools like Tweaker, Tempus, or Physical PT ECOs.
• Awareness of power minimization techniques.
• Experience with deep submicron process technology nodes is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of high-performance and low-power implementation methodologies is preferred.
• A strong desire to optimize Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) to the highest possible extent.
• Robust fundamental understanding of relevant engineering principles.
• Expertise in Perl and TCL scripting languages.
