SSRS & Python Developer

Role Overview:

We are hiring an experienced SSRS & Python Developer at Medanta (Gurgaon) to design, build, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions. This role bridges SQL/SSRS expertise with modern technologies like Power BI and Python for automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
• Create and enhance SSRS reports integrating multiple enterprise data sources and Analysis Services cubes.
• Develop robust Power BI dashboards alongside traditional SSRS reporting solutions.
• Build Python scripts for automation, data processing, validation, and operational efficiency improvements.
• Provide Tier-1/2 production support, troubleshoot bugs, and perform root-cause analysis on technical issues.
• Leverage REST APIs (JSON) to facilitate system integrations and ensure seamless data exchange across applications.
• Maintain web application components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting and enhancements.
• Optimize database performance by analyzing execution plans, refining indexing strategies, and tuning queries.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable reporting and automation solutions.

Tech Stack & Skills:

• Core Tools: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft Power BI, Python, Visual Studio.
• Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle.
• Skills: REST API integration, HTML/CSS/JS for web support, Data Analytics concepts.

Candidate Profile (1-3 Years Exp):

• You should have 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Python and SSRS development in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of SQL fundamentals for complex query writing is essential.
• Familiarity with basic concepts of Machine Learning (ML), AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) is a plus but not mandatory; the primary focus remains on robust reporting infrastructure and data automation.
