SSE - Backend

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to independently design, build, and ship complete backend features from data models through APIs to production deployment. This role requires full ownership of deliverables ensuring correctness, performance, reliability under real-world load.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Engineering: Independently own end-to-end feature development including database design and API implementation using Java or Python.
  
  
• Mentorship: Guide SDE 1 engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and architectural walkthroughs to upskill the team.
  
• Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA teams to deliver cohesive features.
  
  
• System Design: Architect scalable microservices using distributed system principles. Ensure adherence to Statement of Works (SoW) for vendor agreements.
