Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Observability Engineer / Platform Engineer with strong expertise in cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes), monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will build enterprise observability solutions across public clouds using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, Splunk, Elastic, Datadog, Dynatrace, or New Relic.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise observability platforms covering metrics, logs, traces, and events.
• Develop dashboards, SLOs/SLIs, alerting rules, and service health monitoring frameworks.
• Integrate monitoring capabilities within Kubernetes and cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Enable incident management, root cause analysis, and operational troubleshooting via best practices.
• Automate configuration onboarding using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve reliability and availability.
• Support initiatives in distributed tracing, AIOps, and intelligent alerting.

Required Skills

This role requires 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or SRE. Strong expertise is needed in Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk/OpenSearch/Elastic, Distributed Tracing (Jaeger/Tempo), Kubernetes/Docker, and scripting with Python or Shell.
