Sr. Test Engineer - Functional Testing
Role Summary:Ensure seamless commercial product releases by executing comprehensive software testing strategies throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate closely with Engineering and Portfolio Teams to define requirements, validate user stories, and ensure engineering solutions meet acceptance criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across pre-kickoff meetings through User Story closure to define feature specs and acceptance criteria.
- Design, organize, and execute test strategies focusing on intended application workflows in cooperation with Development teams.
- Acquire and manage essential test data required by the test plan.
- Promote software development standards and contribute to improving testing techniques within client organizations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5-7 years in functional, business validation, user acceptance, performance testing, bug management, and test plan execution.
- Strong understanding of Oil & Gas industry processes, operations, and workflows (preferred).
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving capabilities within an Agile environment.
