Position Overview

The IC Validation team leads post-silicon activities including chip bring-up, validation, and characterization of new timing devices. You will play a key role in the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle as products transition from pre-design to post-validation ensuring exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Timing Design team at the Skyworks Bengaluru office with IC bring-up, validation, and characterization.
• Test and debug system and block functionality of new timing ICs.
• Perform silicon characterization by developing robust tests to determine device datasheet specifications.
• Lead design and development of high-speed PCBs (EEVBs) including discrete analog circuits for validation.
• Maintain laboratory test setups supporting validation efforts.
• Define, develop, or acquire software/hardware tools for silicon testing.
• Create automation scripts to decrease data collection times and generate reports using JMP.
• Analyze characterization data via post-processing and review findings with IC design and marketing teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (5+ years) or Master’s (3+ years). Strong EE fundamentals, experience with PLLs/synthesizers/jitter preferred. Extensive hands-on lab instrumentation skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware/software required.
