Sr System Administrator

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to design, implement, support, and maintain our hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure. This role is critical for managing compute resources, networking architecture, security protocols, identity management, backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, monitoring systems, compliance documentation, and technical support activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation, patching, and lifecycle management of data center and cloud technologies including VMware, Nutanix, and Azure environments.
• Manage Active Directory services, ensuring robust identity governance, group policies, organizational unit (OU) structures, and domain health.
• Administer comprehensive networking solutions covering LAN, WAN, wireless networks, and Internet connectivity using Juniper Networking hardware.
• Maintain security posture by managing firewalls, information security appliances, including Palo Alto Networks platforms.
• Ensure high availability of critical business systems through proactive monitoring and rapid remediation of infrastructure issues.
• Deploy and manage virtual machines across both on-premises data centers and public/private cloud infrastructures to meet scaling needs.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and strategic recommendations for system improvements and architectural enhancements.
• Safeguard organizational data assets by implementing rigorous backup procedures that exceed policy requirements using dedicated storage arrays and blade systems.
• Lead disaster recovery initiatives to ensure business continuity during key system failures or cyber events.
