Senior Software Engineer - Itiviti Trading Solutions Delivery

Broadridge India, specifically the Itiviti Trading Solutions Delivery team within the Capital Markets segment of the Financial Services Industry, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. This role requires a passionate, analytical, and customer-focused individual who thrives in a challenging and growth-oriented environment.

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled developer with expertise in scripting and troubleshooting to join our electronic trading systems team. You will engage directly with tier 1 banks in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full-stack solutions for our existing pipeline.
• Create new Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for integration with internal workflow tools.
• Develop reusable code to support client-specific customizations.
• Enhance regression testing tools using proprietary technology.
• Collaborate with regional teams to improve global onboarding processes.
• Willingness to work with proprietary technologies is required; pre-hire knowledge is not necessary.

General Experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Java, Python, or another OOPS language in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, and deployment of enterprise-scale technologies.
• Familiarity with standard SDLC tools like version control systems (Git, CVS, SVN) and build tools (Jenkins).
• Clear understanding of relational databases (SQL, Sybase, DB2) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• UI development experience, particularly with AngularJS or React, is a plus.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Characteristics

• A Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
