Platform Labs at ServiceNow is dedicated to tackling complex challenges and mitigating technical risks for engineering teams across the organization. We achieve this by developing functional proofs of concept and providing integration support to ensure their successful adoption into roadmaps. Our team of Staff Engineers engages with a diverse range of technical areas within the ServiceNow platform and engineering landscape. Each project follows a rigorous methodology: observing and researching a problem, proposing a hypothetical solution, building and testing experiments, analyzing results, and iterating for optimal outcomes. Platform Labs champions emergent technologies while ensuring feasibility and adherence to the operational scale of ServiceNow.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Research and continuously learn about new technologies and established standards, integrating them into your work.
• Justify technical decisions through thorough analysis and collaborative discussions.
• Develop high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by adhering to best practices in software engineering architecture and processes, including code reviews and unit testing.
• Collaborate with product owners to understand detailed requirements and take ownership of your code from design and implementation through test automation and delivery of high-quality products.
• Implement intuitive software solutions that empower customers to extend and customize functionality to meet their unique needs.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features, as well as enhance existing product offerings.
• Mentor colleagues and actively promote knowledge sharing within the team.
