Sr. Staff Engineer

Netskope is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer for its PKI & OAuth team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is part of the Cloud Data Plane engineering group, responsible for architecting and developing highly scalable, high-performance cloud data planes that process vast amounts of traffic, perform deep inspections using AI/ML, and enforce advanced policies like DLP and UEBA protection at line rate.

As a key member of the Secure Web Gateway team, you will contribute to Netskope's market-leading CASB and SWG products, recognized by Gartner. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Python and GoLang, developing features for Netskope's authentication services, and leveraging your expertise in IAM technologies and authentication protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, NHI) to build best-in-class IAM solutions.

We are looking for candidates with 10+ years of experience in network or cloud security product development, strong programming skills in Python or Golang, and proven experience with OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and Non-Human Identity (NHI) authentication. You should also have experience designing and shipping APIs, a solid understanding of REST, HTTPS, TLS, and WebSocket technologies, and experience building and sustaining cloud/network security software. Expertise in data structures, algorithms, containers, and Kubernetes deployment is required. A self-driven, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills is essential.

Educational requirements include a BS in Computer Science or equivalent, with an MS in Computer Science or equivalent strongly preferred.
