Sr. Software Engineer

Role Overview

YASH Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Engineer (Mid-Senior) with expertise in Microsoft Fabric to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra. This role requires designing and implementing scalable data solutions within a cutting-edge technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabric Pipeline Engineering: Design production-grade ETL/ELT workflows using Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, and Notebooks.
• Data Lake Management: Implement OneLake organization with a Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to ensure data quality.
• Advanced Spark Development: Write optimized PySpark and SQL code for high-volume processing.
• Semantic Modeling: Build Power BI semantic models supporting enterprise reporting via Direct Lake or Import modes.
• DevOps & Automation: Manage artifacts using Git integration with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps/GitHub.
• Governance: Collaborate on data security (RLS/OLS) and cataloging within Microsoft Purview.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 5+ years of overall Data Engineering experience with 1–2 years specifically in Microsoft Fabric.
• Expert-level SQL and strong PySpark proficiency.
• Solid understanding of Azure ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and dimensional modeling patterns.
