Senior Software Engineer (Java) - Bangalore

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Core Java to design, develop, and maintain complex software solutions for semiconductor equipment. You will leverage machine learning and AI technologies to solve high-value customer problems while driving engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and define specifications, architecture, and test strategies for new features.
• Own feature development from design through implementation, testing, and deployment using Microservices or SOA-based systems.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement robust fixes.
• Collaborate with product management, cross-functional teams, and customers to manage dependencies.
• Use AI-powered engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve SDLC productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, modern features, and Spring Boot ecosystem (5+ years).
• Experience in design patterns, SOLID principles, algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and event-driven architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Semiconductor or Metrology domain experience.
• Knowledge of UI technologies (React/Angular) and workflow orchestration frameworks like Apache Airflow.
