Full Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AP) with approximately 6-9 years of experience to join our Bengaluru team. You will design, implement, and maintain Node.js backend services using TypeScript/JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and evolve core domain entities including boards, lanes, work items, WIP rules, and permissions.
  • Build secure, multi-tenant REST/JSON APIs consumed by web frontends and internal services.
  • Implement business logic for workflows, metrics, and cross-team visibility.
  • Enhance performance, reliability, and observability of existing distributed systems.
  • Integrate backend services with data storage and analytics layers.
  • Maintain automated tests (unit, integration, contract) and participate in code reviews.

Tech Stack:

  • Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Relational/NoSQL data stores
  • CI/CD tools for logging, metrics, and alerting

Nice to have: Experience with Kanban/Agile tools, AI-assisted coding (e.g., GitHub Copilot), or React frontend collaboration.
