Sr. Software Engineer

OpenText is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, India. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to drive complex product design, systems analysis, research, maintenance, and troubleshooting. You will be instrumental in fostering innovation for both team and product development.

Key responsibilities include producing high-quality code that meets design specifications, analyzing and resolving intricate code defects, and proposing innovative solutions that balance risk, complexity, and effort. You will collaborate across teams to ensure product interoperability and actively participate in an Agile Development Framework from design to release.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 6 years of product development experience. Essential technical skills include in-depth knowledge of .NET (ASP.NET & C#) and .NET Core, strong RDBMS experience (SQL, Oracle preferred), and extensive knowledge of REST API, WCF, and WPF. Familiarity with Angular, cloud technologies, and WebServices is also required. Strong fundamental programming and debugging skills, along with hands-on experience in building enterprise applications and both server and client-side technologies, are crucial. You should also be adept at contributing to the continuous improvement of agile development processes.
