Sr Software Engineer

About The Role

Join Gap Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Telangana, India, where you will design and implement highly scalable and performant technology solutions within an Agile framework. Your responsibilities will include developing code and test cases, leveraging your expertise in software development and Agile methodologies. You will collaborate closely with business support teams, product managers, security, and architecture specialists to resolve critical production issues and enhance business processes through cutting-edge technology and automation. As a technical leader, you will guide products through requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support phases. Proficiency in at least one core programming language or package is essential.

What You'll Do

• Possess 2 years of hands-on experience with React/Angular UI technologies.
• Demonstrate good hands-on experience with Java 11, including functional programming in Java 8.
• Experience with Spring & Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain Microservices.
• Work with MongoDB.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, application profiling, and automated/performance testing.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform.
• Solid understanding of RDBMS (Postgres/SQL Server).

Nice to have:

• Exposure to Cloud platforms (Azure preferred), PCF, Splunk, AKS, and Docker.

Who You Are

• Possess software development experience, with an understanding of security, secure coding/testing, and data structures. Stay aware of industry and competitor best practices.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and technologies.
• Proficient with various software languages and platforms such as Java, Oracle, and Azure.
• Have experience with related technology stacks and platforms.
• Skilled in building and maintaining effective relationships with your immediate team and stakeholders.
