Sr. Software Engineer

Role Overview

OpenText is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its R&D Technical CPE (Customer Product Engineering) team in Bengaluru. This critical role acts as the primary interface between R&D, support teams, and clients, focusing on advanced technical investigations, complex debugging, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary R&D technical point of contact for customer and support inquiries.
• Investigate, debug, and deliver patches for enterprise-grade Java/J2EE applications.
• Collaborate with global SCRUM teams to resolve technical puzzles and deliver seamless digital solutions.
• Manage deployment and infrastructure tasks using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker in Linux environments.
• Maintain high standards of data security and confidentiality in a professional corporate environment.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Linux, Shell Scripting, and Python.
• Strong background in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with Java/J2EE debugging, GIT, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Expertise in cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and SSO/Authentication protocols (LDAP, Kerberos).
• Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSH, SNMP) and database administration (PostgreSQL, Vertica, Oracle).
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong verbal/written communication skills in English.
